Lip Enhancement or Augmentation
Sometimes, particularly as a person gets older, the lips may gradually become less full and thinner. By injecting either Restylane or Perlane into the lips they can be enhanced to give them a fuller appearance. Sometimes the lips themselves will need to be injected and sometimes the fine lines above the lips (particularly in smokers) will need to be injected with Restylane Fine Lines to remove the lines and smooth out the skin. We are also able to perform Lip Enhancement for people who wish their lips to be fuller and plumper.
Injections into the lips can sometimes be quite uncomfortable, so we normally perform this work after first giving a local anaesthetic (similarly to when you have an injection by the dentist).
